County Fish Fry Cooks Up a Crowd for Annual Event

Folks began lining up early Saturday afternoon for the annual Fish Fry, sponsored by Anderson County Councilman Glenn Davis.

“This is our third year having our fish fry, I remember that because this is my fourth year being in office,” said Davis, who represents Dist. 2. “This is something where we can give back to the community. They need to see me out here serving, and it's just an all-around good time for everybody.”

Davis said people ask him about the fish fry year-round and he said he reminds them it’s always the third Saturday in October. He said the event would not be possible with the work of his “remarkable” wife and a group of volunteers.
