Voter Registration Deadline for June Primaries This Week

The deadline for voter registration to vote in the June 9 primaries is near. The in-person registration deadline in Anderson County is Thursday, and the online registration deadline is Sunday before midnight.

In-person registration is available at the Anderson County Board of Voter Registrations and Elections, 301 N. Main Street, in Anderson. Those who have moved need to update their voter registration. Mail-in ballots must be postmarked by May 11.

Registration online, at www.scvotes.gov, requires a valid South Carolina drivers’ license or South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles identification card.
