Anderson Free Clinic Celebrates 37th Walk with the Docs

Greg Wilson/Anderson Observer

Bright sunshine and a cool breeze greeted the dozens of men, women and children put on their sneakers Saturday morning for the 37th Annual Anderson Free Clinic Walk with the Docs.

The downtown walk is the largest fund-raising event each year for the Free Clinic, which provides medical, dental, vision, mental health and pharmacy services to the uninsured whose income does not exceed 200 percent of the Federal Poverty guidelines and have no insurance.

If you missed the event, fret not, because the Free Clinic held their Walk with the Docs Honea Path at their satellite facility in Honea Path on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. For more information, visit the Anderson Free Clinic website.
