Beginning Aug.18, those operating a watercraft in South Carolina born before July 1, 2007, will be required to pass an approved boating education course.

Anderson County Council move ahead on guidelines and restrictions for RV parks on Tuesday, agreeing on second reading to create ordinances to assure the parks will properly located, designed and maintained.

Early voting for Anderson County registered voters, for voters eligible to vote in-person for the Aug. 8 Zoning Referendum in the Fork No. 2 Precinct, may do so beginning Monday at the Anderson County Voter Registration and Elections Office, 301 N. Under the new law, anyone convicted of driving under the influence will have to breathe into a device that confirms no measurable alcohol levels exist before they can operate their vehicle.
