A major expansion bringing 20 new jobs is under way at Sargent Metal Fabricators, Inc., a fixture in Anderson County’s advanced manufacturing sector for half a century. The company’s $9 million investment, announced this week, is set to create 20 new jobs over the next five years, marking a significant step forward for local industry at a time when precision fabrication has become a regional strength.
“It’s always great to see home-grown companies continue to grow and expand,” said Anderson County Administrator Rusty Burns.
