County to Honor Officers, First Responders Who Gave All

Greg Wilson/Anderson Observer

Anderson County will honor law enforcements and first responders who gave their lives in the line of duty at an 7:30 a.m. Oct. 19 event at the Anderson Civic Center. It will mark the 38th year the service has been held.

The event, formerly known as “Walk in the Park” will now be held indoors at the civic center, and be more of a prayer and reflection service to honor those who paid the ultimate cost for their public service.
