Notice: Portion of Camson Road Collapsed; Repair Expected to Take 2 Weeks
NOTICE: Anderson County Roads & Bridges is working to prepare a portion of Camson Road that was washed out due to recent rainfall. The repair is estimated to be a two-week project.
The outage is in the vicinity of Electric City Gymnastics and Pickens Construction.

“The citizens of Anderson County are very fortunate to have this man working for us,” said County Council Chairman Tommy Dunn. “We appreciate the job Mr. Burns is doing. Anderson EMS System, Director Named Best in S.C.
Anderson County implemented a new countywide EMS program in Sept. 2021, and has reported solid progress since the change from a loose coalition of volunteer rescue squads. According to the county, the new system is fully staffed and response time goals—defined as 9 minutes, 59 seconds or less—are now being met 95 percent of the time on priority 1 calls compared with 65 percent response times under the previous system.
