School Dist. 4 High Expectations for 2025-2026

Following a year in which Anderson School Dist. 4 boasted five of six schools last year with excellent state school report cards, the highest graduation rate (92 percent) in history for the third year in a row, and college and career readiness scores of more than 84 percent the district is continues to prepare for growth moving into the 2025-2026 school year.

Progress on the new Pendleton High School, which is scheduled to open in the fall of 2026, and upgrades at the district’s current schools for this year and beyond.

“I really feel like our schools are relentless in their effort to prepare each individual child for what's next for them,” said Superintendent Dee Christopher. “All of our schools are doing fantastic.”

With just over 3,000 students, Dist. 4 is also looking to expand sports, including the potential of a tennis team.
